How do I book one of your services?
You can book any of our services by using our valet builder tool (here) or calling us during working hours on 01902 493686.
How long does a valet take?
This will vary according to the particular valet you have booked and the condition of the vehicle upon our arrival. We have given a time guide for all of our most popular services via our valet builder tool.
How often should I have my car polished?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions by customers here at Smart Car and we recommend that you have a coat of wax or polish applied to the car at least 4 times a year (ie each season, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). The layers of wax then build into a durable, highly reflective finish which will give you more protection against flies, stone chips and scratches whilst also enhancing the appearance as well as the re-sale value of your vehicle.
What area do your Mobile Valeting Units cover?
Based in the heart of the Black Country, we travel extensively throughout the West Midlands on a daily basis. For a list of the main areas serviced by our mobile valeting units click here. We do however travel further afield for pre-arranged appointments, shows and to carry out specialist work. Please contact us using our online enquiry form.
Do you offer a collection and delivery service?
Although we offer a fully mobile service as well as our excellent workshop facilities we can offer a collection and delivery service to customers on a pre-arranged basis.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We appreciate as much notice as possible, but realise that this is not always practical and so will always try to accommodate bookings, however last minute they may be. You can book online by clicking here
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all popular methods of payment including cash, credit and debit cards. We also offer attractive credit facilities to our Account Holders and application forms are available to any company or individual wishing to set-up an Account.
Will my car interior be wet after it has been valeted?
By using the latest chemicals and valeting techniques we will always try to ensure that your vehicle is returned to you as ‘dry’ as possible without compromising the quality of the valet being undertaken. Should additional drying be required, our technicians will give you the necessary information required to expediate the drying process.
What happens if it is raining on the day that my valet is due?
Although it does rain on occasion, it is often only intermittent and should not interfere with your booked service. If the rain is persistent we will endeavour to either complete as much of the booked service as possible or, if preferred, re-book the service for another day.
Is the Mobile Valeting Units standard different to your Workshop?
All of our Mobile Valeting Units come to you complete with onboard water tank, steam cleaner, generator and all of the necessary chemicals to carry out the same high standard of work you would expect to receive at our Workshops.
Can you remove cigarette smoke, dog, milk, or vomit odours from upholstery?
Yes, please check our Accidents & Emergencies page for details on these and other spillages and contamination problems.
Can you remove scratches from the paintwork?
Yes, but only light scratches. If your finger nail catches in the scratch, then it is too deep. These we can improve the appearance of, but not completely remove.
Can you clean convertible hoods?
Yes, there are special products and techniques for cleaning convertible roofs. Please call us or pop in for free advice and a quotation for your vehicle.
Can you restore faded paintwork?
Yes, we offer a full range of cutting and machine polishing services and we recommend you call for advice and a free quotation during working hours.
